Mail & Assets Support Officer

Established in 1889 as a leading comprehensive school for the education of boys, Shore welcomed girls to the Early Learning Centre and K, 1, 2 Preparatory School at its Northbridge Campus in 2003. Working from the School's Loading Dock and Technology Services area, you'll be responsible for managing the daily flow of mail, parcels, and deliveries across the campus, as well as providing hands-on support with the tagging and tracking of new technology assets.
This is a people-focused role that requires good judgement, strong communication, and a practical approach to problem-solving. It will suit someone who enjoys being on their feet, working with a broad range of people, and making sure things get where they need to go safely, efficiently, and with care.
Whether you're at the beginning of your working life or looking for a purposeful and balanced role later in your career, this position offers the chance to work in a supportive and values-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, sort and deliver mail and packages across various departments
- Liaise with couriers, staff, and service teams to ensure smooth delivery operations
- Assist with logging and tagging new laptops, monitors and other IT assets
- Maintain accurate tracking records and uphold privacy standards
- Monitor and restock printer paper at locations across campus
- Help maintain the safe storage and movement of school equipment
- Keep the Loading Dock and storerooms clean, organised and safe
We're looking for someone who:
- Has strong communication and organisational skills
- Is comfortable working independently, with a high level of accountability
- Takes pride in delivering high-quality support with attention to detail
- Can safely handle and move parcels and tech equipment (up to 16kg)
- Enjoys practical, active work with variety throughout the day
- Has a professional and approachable manner
Prior experience in logistics, facilities, education or asset management is beneficial but not essential, we're happy to train the right person who brings the right attitude.
