10The Role: Divisional Account Manager
Divisional Account Managers are uniquely positioned to drive revenue growth by delivering a broad range of solutions to support critical business functions and workflows in partnership with Sales Specialists, Customer Success, and Product Management.
As a Divisional Account Manager, you are the primary commercial lead responsible for managing existing client accounts with a focus on net revenue growth which includes selling into and retaining the book of business, while delivering an overall positive experience for our clients. You will also be involved in business development efforts and go-to-market initiatives such as market outreach for newly acquired products, client campaigns, and thought leadership events. You will be part of our Pacific Region Divisional Account Management team.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Driving new dollars across new sales and price increases through achieving good stability around timely renewals and building stable sales pipelines,
- Partner with sales specialists and cross-functional teams to identify, sell and close opportunities for S&P Global Market Intelligence services and be the central point of contact, collaborating across internal functions for a cohesive customer experience
- Be the "voice of the customer" internally and define a similar series of growth mindset and culture as your internal stakeholders in order to achieve your growth objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client executives, and become their trusted partner for them and their teams, creating awareness of existing and new offerings
- Work with internal stakeholders to proactively assess and address user needs to drive the best possible client experience
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor degree holder in Finance, Economics or related working experience is preferred
- Minimum 3 years of sales and/or relationship management experience, preferably within the financial services sector.
- A proven track record of closing deals and leading negotiations to drive revenue growth across client accounts with confidence
- Strong business acumen and an entrepreneurial attitude towards managing risks and maximizing opportunity in a defined book of business
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Commercial Lending and Financial Services Industry
- Excellent problem-solving skills and, analytical capabilities
- Solid presentation and communication skills (face to face, large groups, virtually)
- Team player and able to collaborate with sales team and global counterparts in putting in place account plans to meet objective
