IT Technician L2 and L3

As a L2 and L3 technician in our education team you will have responsibility for the following:

• Providing a high level of service and advice, troubleshooting and providing out of the box issue resolution to more complex IT issues in a timely manner
• Ensuring agreed levels of service are maintained in the provision of technical support, maintenance and repairs, by yourself and the team
• Strong abilities in time management and work prioritisation, managing job queues and workloads for yourself (more complex matters) and the team
• Undertaking high level preventative maintenance and complex repairs of all ICT equipment
• Suggesting, recommending and implementing new equipment and software solutions, and providing advice on options for enhancements and efficiencies
• Ability to interpret, apply and follow legislation, regulations and other guidance material, confidently explain this to others and ensure adherence
• Work effectively both independently and within a team environment, providing training to staff, trainees and maintaining site documentation
• Maintaining productive working relationships with stakeholders
• Developing and maintaining site documentation in accordance with our company standards

As a Technician, you will be able to evidence strong skills in the following technical areas:

• Active Directory
• Group Policy
• DNS
• DHCP
• Windows Server 2016 and above
• Windows 11
• Office365
• Virtualization - Hyper-V / Add/Remove/Reconfigure Virtual machines / Migrate virtual machines / Backup and recover virtual machines/guest files using Veeam Backup & Replication
• Networking - including configuring switching
• Desktop and laptop hardware support
• Printers and photocopiers
• VoIP phone configuration

2+ years experience in a role at this level is desired.

We are looking to fill the following roles at this level:

• Four (4) positions immediately
• Create an order of merit for roles for 2026

Please note that these positions are based in Redland City and Greater Brisbane.

Future positions may be based in the Logan and Brisbane areas in Queensland, Australia and the successful applicant must already live centrally to these regions and will require a licence and reliable vehicle to attend site.

Before applying for this role, the successful applicant must be eligible to reside and work in an unlimited capacity in Australia.

The applicant must also hold a Blue Card and have an Australian National Police Clearance, or obtain these if sucessful.
