Stump Grind It & Acclaim Tree Care is a reliable provider of tree care and maintenance in South East Queensland. We focus on delivering quality services to our clients while upholding safety standards and promoting the health and beauty of trees. We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Ground Crew Member to join our team and contribute to our success in achieving our goals. This position is all about getting hands-on and staying active, so you'll need plenty of physical stamina and a genuine dedication to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with tree pruning and tree removal tasks, as well as stump grinding.
  • Operate and maintain equipment, including chainsaws, chippers, and stump grinders.
  • Ensure the worksite is always clean and safe.
  • Support the lead arborist and other team members as needed.
  • Safely load and transport debris and equipment.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements:

  • Valid truck driver's license (desirable).
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in tree care or landscaping is required.
  • Previous experience in the tree care industry is highly desirable.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects.
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • White card certification.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Good verbal communication skills to interact with team members and clients.
  • Strong work ethic with a focus on punctuality and reliability.
