About the role

We are seeking a Carpenter/Formworker and/or Concreter to join our team at Barone Concreting & Construction Pty Ltd in Peakhurst, NSW. This full-time role will involve a variety of carpentry and concreting duties to support the construction of residential and commercial projects. We are seeking someone with a willingness to learn concreting and an eagerness to take on new skills.

What you'll be doing

  1. Reading and interpreting plans and technical specifications to build and assemble formwork
  2. Measuring, cutting, and installing wood, plywood, and other materials to create concrete forms
  3. Pouring, levelling, and finishing concrete to high standards
  4. Collaborating with the construction team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the required quality
  5. Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition
  6. Adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures

Essential criteria

  1. At least 3 years' experience as a Carpenter/Formworker , ideally in the construction industry
  2. Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and equipment
  3. Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings
  4. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  5. Good communication and teamwork skills
  6. Current driver's licence and reliable transportation
  7. Certification in white card, first aid, and any other relevant construction qualifications

Preferred skills

  1. Knowledge and experience in Concreting
  2. Proficiency in concrete pouring, levelling, and finishing
