Network Installation Technician, Infrastructure Delivery

You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. The Infrastructure Delivery team is responsible for the scaling and physical deployment of new data-center infrastructure. As part of that team, the Installation Technician will be primarily tasked with installing cabling and new racks within the data-centers. This position has a physical component and may require working in cramped spaces or elevated locations.

Key job responsibilities
- Installation and testing of copper and Fiber Optic cabling;
- Basic build and troubleshooting of network devices;
- Adhering to defined escalation processes and standard operating procedures;
- Ability to travel within geographical work area is required.

A day in the life
A normal day involves working inside a data center installing network equipment and cables, managing vendors, and negotiating deadlines with program managers. You will be responsible for running multiple projects at the same time.

Basic Qualifications:
- 1+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience
- 1+ years of computer networking experience

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure
