About the role:

Canning Vale based. Be home every night, on weekends and all public holidays

We have opportunities for passionate individuals  to join our busy service department. We are seeking candidates who are reliable, have excellent attention to detail and take pride in their work.

In this role you will be required to:

  • Prepare new Manitou and Kobelco machines for delivery.
  • Fit accessories to machines.
  • Quality control and test installation of the accessories fitted to new machines.
  • Inspect machinery conditions as per OEM specifications to identify any damage or discrepancies.
  • Performing pre-delivery servicing and preparation, including fitment of additional items, fluid checks, basic adjustments, software updates, accessory installation, cleaning and detailing.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving minor mechanical or electrical issues.
  • Completing all necessary documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensuring all safety features are functioning correctly.
  • Collaborating with other team members to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Permanent employment with regular hours, and the possibility to work overtime as required.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Proven mechanical aptitude and a keen eye for detail.
  • Previous experience as a pre-delivery technician or in a similar mechanical role is highly desirable, but we also encourage applications from enthusiastic individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Strong work ethic and a commitment to quality.
  • Valid driver's license (if applicable to the role).
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications are a plus (but not essential)
  • High Risk work Licence - LF (Forklift) and WP Classes, would be an advantage but not essential
