Your day as a Mobile Mechanic
- Carrying out major and minor services and repairs
- Diagnosing faults and completing repairs to a high standard
- Clearly explaining work to customers and building trust
- Recommending additional work to keep vehicles safe and reliable
- Attending breakdowns and completing jobs efficiently
- Handling brakes, timing belts, fuel and cooling systems, and more
What You Must Have
- Trade-qualified (Australia) mechanic
- Minimum 5 years post-apprenticeship / diploma experience
- Strong diagnostic and quoting skills
- Current manual driver's licence (or ability to obtain)
- Clear and confident communication with customers
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work some Saturdays on a roster
- Ability to work unsupervised and manage your own jobs safely
Who We Are Looking For
We want a mechanic who is efficient and productive on the tools, but also puts customer service first. You must put safety above all, be self-motivated, reliable, and ethical, with the ability to explain work in a way that builds customer trust. Experience as a service advisor, 2IC, workshop controller, or supervisor will be highly regarded.
