Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Junior to Mid-Level Lawyer located in Surry Hills, NSW.

You'll work directly with clients on a stimulating mix of commercial litigation, employment and maritime matters. There is no cookie cutter work here. We support large corporates and individuals, giving you the chance to sharpen your skills across varied industries.
You will have access to quality work and direct client exposure.
If you bring litigation experience, there's scope to either broaden your practice with exposure to non-litigious work, or double down and build a strong litigation-focused career with support.

You will be encouraged to take ownership of your matters early, but you
will also receive great mentoring and support in a friendly and high achieving team.

Our team enjoys working together on site, but we understand the value of flexibility. For experienced lawyers, hybrid arrangements are absolutely on the table.

Qualifications and Attributes

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in Commercial Litigation, EmMaployment Law or Transport / Maritime Law
  • Is confident in legal research, drafting and advocacy
  • Communicates clearly and with empathy
  • Manages time and priorities effectively
  • Is admitted to practice in NSW
  • Thrives in a collaborative team environment
  • Builds strong, trusting relationships with clients (or looking for a role that will allow this)
  • Is proactive, curious and eager to grow
