We're a small but growing boutique law firm based in beautiful offices in Surry Hills. Known for our empathetic and commercial approach, we're seeking a passionate and capable lawyer to join our team. You'll have the opportunity to work on employment, transport, and commercial litigation matters, gaining exposure to a diverse and stimulating caseload.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Junior to Mid-Level Lawyer – Employment, Transport & Commercial Litigation, located in Surry Hills, NSW. Our preference is for our team to be on-site to allow for collaboration and learning, but we do offer flexibility, and we are open to hybrid working for experienced lawyers. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling cases related to employment law, transport law, and commercial litigation. Day-to-day tasks include legal research, drafting legal documents, representing clients in court, and providing tailored legal advice. The role requires a proactive approach to managing cases and client relationships.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Employment Law and/or Transport Law, and Commercial Litigation
  • Strong legal research and drafting skills
  • Ability to represent clients in court and provide tailored legal advice
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
  • Admitted to practice law in NSW
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and maintain client relationships
