About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Manager to lead our Oporto Dubbo restaurant. In this hands-on role, you will oversee all aspects of store operations, manage and support the team, ensure food safety and compliance, and maintain high standards of service and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily restaurant operations including opening and closing procedures
  • Supervise, train, and roster staff to meet business needs
  • Handle stock control, ordering, and inventory management
  • Oversee cash handling, banking, and sales reporting
  • Maintain food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards
  • Record and monitor temperature logs and compliance documents
  • Drive sales and deliver excellent customer experiences
  • Conduct team meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions
  • Ensure completion of Oporto's online training modules and monthly safety training
  • Liaise with area management and implement operational improvements

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a retail or fast-food management role
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Sound knowledge of food safety and compliance requirements
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, stock, and sales targets
  • Reliable, organised, and motivated to achieve results
