Perth, Western Australia Counsel Connect Pty Ltd Full time $80,000 - $120,000 per year

Looking to connect with employment lawyers who are wanting to expand their in-house experience and are available to join our client (a prominent WA business) on secondment.

The Opportunity

Join the in-house team at this private investment group and work on a variety of interesting employment matters. A secondment at this organisation will see you getting involved in quality/high value work and connect you with a high performing team.

They are looking for a generalist employment lawyer (ideally 5-10 PQE) who is ready to jump in and support them by:

  • Providing legal advice on a variety of employment, industrial relations and workplace health and safety matters.
  • Translating complex legal concepts into practical solutions.
  • Drafting and reviewing a range of employment related contracts.
  • Working with various internal stakeholders and advising on a range of employment and people matters.

About You

  • A technically strong, generalist employment lawyer, who has worked within corporate and commercial industries. Ideally with experienced gained in a top-tier, reputable mid-tier firm or in-house environment.
  • Good experience in advisory and contentious employment matters with strong drafting skills.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders and offer practical and strategic advice and solutions.
  • Ideally, between 8-10 PQE (however, if you fall outside of this bracket and have the right skill set, we would still love to connect with you.)
