- Support individuals accessing services through shared experiences, advocacy, and trauma-informed, recovery-oriented approaches.
- Deliver peer support in one-on-one and group settings, fostering hope and resilience while identifying opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with clinicians and team members to help individuals navigate systems and achieve their desired outcomes.
The Senior Peer Worker works collaboratively with the other members of the Medicare Mental Health Centre team and external services to maximise care outcomes for consumers.
This position is available full-time to 30 June 2026 with possibility of extension. Experienced applicants who may not meet all of the criteria but willing to work towards may also be considered for a Peer worker position.
