This is more than just a pick up job: you'll inspire them with arts & crafts, yoga stretches, bike adventures and hands‑on meal prep, while helping them grow into confident, capable young girls. If you thrive on creating enriching experiences and building genuine connections, this could be your ideal fit.

Schedule & Duties

Hours (17 hours per week):

  • Mon – Thu 3:00 PM – 6:30 PM (school pick‑up at 3:00 PM)
  • Fri 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

After‑School Activities:

  • Wed - AFL training
  • Thu – Girl Guides
  • Fri – Swimming (both girls) & AFL game

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and prepare healthy, sugar free meals/snacks and compile shopping lists for meal preparation (mum orders online)
  • Encourage the 7 year old to help with meal prep
  • Assist with showering and general hygiene
  • Supervise and support homework and quiet learning activities
  • Plan calm, creative pastimes (arts & crafts, yoga, bike rides)
  • Provide gentle teaching - encourage independence rather than doing tasks for them
  • Maintain a calm environment (no loud music or boisterous behaviour)
  • Ensure children are safely cared for until 6:30 PM (6:00 PM on Friday)

Nanny Requirements:

  • Previous nanny or early years childcare experience
  • Calm, patient demeanour and creative spirit
  • Strong meal planning and cooking skills
  • Excellent time management and reliability
  • Genuine enthusiasm for guiding children's learning and development
