Are you an animal lover with a friendly smile and a knack for helping people? Join our small, passionate team at Petcare Byron Bay, your local neighborhood pet store

We're looking for a reliable and friendly Sales Assistant to provide top-notch customer service, help keep our shelves stocked, and ensure every furry (or feathered, or scaled) visitor gets the care they deserve.

What you'll do:


• Greet and assist customers with a positive, helpful attitude


• Provide knowledgeable advice on pet products and care


• Operate the till and handle transactions


• Restock shelves and keep the store tidy


• Help care for our in-store fish

  • Physically fit, with ability to lift products up to 20kgs


• Contribute to a fun, team-oriented work environment

What we're looking for:


• A friendly, approachable personality


• Dependability and punctuality

  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships and rapport with customers and your team-mates


• Willingness to learn about a variety of pets and products


• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus


• Must be available to work Saturdays
