About the role

SouthTas Concrete and Building Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Concreter/Formwork Carpenter and/or labourer to join our team in Hobart, Tasmania. This role will involve performing a variety of concrete and carpentry tasks to support our projects across the region.

What you'll be doing

  • Pouring and finishing of concrete for foundations, slabs, driveways, footpaths, pads & piers
  • Constructing, installing and dismantling formwork and other general building work
  • Site preparation
  • Reading and interpreting engineered plans and specifications to ensure work is completed to the required standards
  • Operating power tools and equipment safely and effectively
  • Collaborating with construction teams to coordinate work and ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high quality
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment

What we're looking for

  • A minimum of two years experience as a Concreter or Formwork Carpenter
  • Strong practical skills in concrete pouring, finishing, and formwork construction
  • Ability to read and interpret technical plans and drawings
  • Proficient with power tools and construction equipment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
