About the Company:

A highly regarded Construction Consultancy specialising in quantity surveying and advisory services across the construction and infrastructure sectors. With a strong local presence, they are experiencing a steady growth phase as the company continues to exceed their client's expectations delivering projects safely, on time and to the highest standard.

Our ideal candidate will have experience developing first principles estimates for Hydraulic Services component of a commercial construction projects (Plumbing)

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing detailed Estimates of the Engineering Services Trades (measurement and pricing)
  • Reviewing and negotiating Engineering Services components of Variations
  • Preparing Assessments of Works in Progress of the Engineering Services components of Progress Claims

About You

  • 3+ years' post-graduate experience in quantity surveying, estimating or cost management roles – we encourage applicants with a contractor background to apply.
  • Desired - A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Strong expertise in construction cost management, including the use of software applications such as CostX, Candy or Expert
  • Knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and cost control methodologies
  • Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented, problem-solving mindset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work in a collaborative environment
