The Role
KBR is seeking a Senior Scheduler to join our team supporting the Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance (GWEO) MSP program. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a nationally significant Defence initiative within a collaborative and high performing environment.
As a Senior Scheduler, you will work closely with project managers and stakeholders to develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules that support the successful delivery of program milestones. You will provide expert scheduling advice and contribute to the proactive development of project planning strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Revise and update where necessary the Open Plan Professional (OPP) Project and Contract Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) so that they are in-line with appropriate industry standards including DEF (AUST) 5664
- Assist in the development and maintenance of CASG project Integrated Master Schedules across multiple Projects.
- Preparation of schedule reports (including cartoon schedules) for estimates (bi-annually) and reporting meetings (PPRIP; HoG; Project Performance Review; and MPGR monthly meetings).
- Identification of potential risks, issues and opportunities in regards to project schedules
- Mentoring advice and assistance to CASG project management personnel in relation to the use of current industry best practice schedule tools and project schedule reporting methodologies.
As the ideal candidate you will bring:
- Demonstrated competence and experience as per skill level 3 Advanced Practitioner or above (Essential)
- Demonstrated competence and experience in using the Open Plan Professional (OPP) tool (Essential)
- Experience developing, maintaining and reporting on CASG schedules (Desirable)
- Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate an ability to meet demanding milestones (Desirable)
Due to the nature of Defence work, applicants must be Australian citizens and hold an active NV1 security clearance.
