About the role

We're seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our high-performing Sales team. Based in our Melbourne (Notting Hill) office with a hybrid work setup, this full-time role focuses on developing new business and managing key client relationships in one of the world's fastest-growing sectors. As part of Alliance SI's continued growth, you'll play a pivotal role in driving strategic sales opportunities and strengthening our position as a trusted industry partner.

In this role, you will

  • Drive growth by identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities across key markets.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring a seamless experience from first contact through to project delivery.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales and market plans that expand our reach, deliver results, and strengthen our brand reputation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Leadership, Project Management, and Operations, to design tailored solutions and deliver outstanding client outcomes.
  • Manage a dynamic sales pipeline, craft compelling proposals, and contribute to campaigns that achieve and exceed targets.
  • Lead professional presentations and contract negotiations while maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance, and safety.

About you

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Hold tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Have proven success in B2B sales, ideally within technology infrastructure, data centre, or professional services sectors.
  • Possess a strong commercial acumen with experience managing complex sales cycles and building trusted relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Be an exceptional communicator with a proactive, results-driven, and client-focused approach.
  • Be self-motivated, organised, and collaborative, demonstrating integrity, professionalism, and commitment to excellence.
