Events in Tents is a premier event rental company that specialises in providing top quality marquees and equipment for a variety of events including weddings, corporate gatherings, festivals and private parties.  We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service and seamless event setups.

About the Role

We are currently seeking experienced and reliable truck drivers/yardpersons to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting marquees, equipment and supplies to event locations ensuring timely and safe delivery and assisting with the setup and packdown of event structures.

Responsibilities

Your skills and experience will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operations and logistics of our business by:

· Safely operating company trucks to deliver and pick up event equipment;

· Performing routine vehicle inspections and maintenance of your assigned MR vehicle;

· Assisting with picking, packing and assembling orders for dispatch;

· Assisting with deliveries, loading and unloading trucks both manually and forklift assisted;

· Ensuring all deliveries are made on time and in excellent condition;

· Maintaining accurate delivery logs and reports;

· Providing exceptional customer service to clients at event sites;

· Assisting with the setup and takedown of tents and other event structures;

· Warehouse cleaning and maintenance of products at times;

· Prioritising safety and ensuring all safe working protocols are followed.

About You

· White card;

· Minimum MR licence;

· Valid Forklift (LF) licence an advantage;

· No more than 6 demerit points accumulated on licence;

· Be prepared to provide a current licence history report for the previous 5 years;

· Punctual and reliable;

· Ability to work in a team environment and be team-oriented;

· Be available weekdays Monday-Friday 40+ hours/week;

· Unrestricted working rights within Australia;

· Experience in the event rental industry is a plus.
