The opportunity

We are looking for an experienced MR Truck Driver to join our team.

About INTEXO

We are a Waste Management company located in Crestmead, Brisbane. Providing sustainable waste management solutions to a range of customers including councils, small businesses, large corporate entities across Southeast Queensland.

What we offer

  • Full-time permanent position
  • $32-$35 per hour plus super + OVERTIME
  • Monday to Friday day shift only
  • Induction and training provided

About the role:

We are looking for a hands-on, physically fit experienced MR Truck Driver to join our team.

Role & Responsibilities:

· Perform loading and unloading of packaged waste

· Multi stop collections across Brisbane, Gold Coast & Sunshine Coast

· Practice safe and correct manual handling

· Operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with company regulations

· Ensure presentation of vehicle, inside and out is of a high standard

· Confirm all service dockets are signed, photos taken and you correctly present all documentation to the client & then to the dispatch team.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for a well presented, high energy, hands-on individual with a clean driving record and excellent time management & customer service skills.

Candidates must have valid Australian work authorisation to be eligible for this position.

  • Must have at least 2yrs experience as a MR Driver and a valid MR Licence – desirable HR truck licence
  • Must be over 25yrs - due to insurances
  • Physically fit (lifting capability>25kgs)
  • Be computer savvy, we use an iPad for our job tickets.
  • Be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of Gold Coast & Brisbane roads
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
  • Strong time management skills and reliable
  • Be committed in achieving high standards of compliance and customer service
  • Comfortable in a customer-facing role; excellent communication
  • Knowledge of handling and packaging requirements for Hazardous Packaged Waste and Dangerous Goods - desirable
  • Police Check clearance
