Your new role

We're looking for a HD Fitter | Digger Fitter | Rebuilds Fitter to join the workshop team in a temp-to-perm capacity. You'll be working on large mining excavators – stripping down modules such as engines and cleaning components before full rebuilds. Engines arrive directly from site, and each rebuild cycle runs for 8–12 weeks. This is a Perth-based role on a 10:4 roster, working 6am–3pm (9-hour days).

What you'll need to succeed

  • Cert III in Engineering - Mechanical or
  • Experience rebuilding heavy mobile plant, especially mining diggers
  • Hydraulics experience
  • HRWL – Dogging, Rigging, and gantry crane experience highly regarded
  • Ability to pass a medical, lab DAS, and provide a NPC prior to starting
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
