THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a safety and quality conscious Plant Mechanic to join the team. In this role, you will be working on a 2 and 1 roster, with FIFO and DIDO opportunities available. Flights and accommodation and meal allowances will be provided.

In this role, you will:

  • Servicing and maintaining equipment and vehicles
  • Maintenance record and documentation
  • Plant and equipment inspections
  • Attending to breakdowns
  • Working on Hydraulic systems
  • Perform basic automotive electrical works

ABOUT YOU

  • Highly established attention to Safe work practices
  • Australian-recognised Trade Certificate with post-trade experience
  • Experience with Light and Heavy plant and equipment, hydraulic systems, and basic automotive electrical skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Ability to document and maintain traceability on all works undertaken
  • Experience working with and maintaining the following types of equipment;
  • Diesel EWP'S up to 135ft,
  • Telehandlers,
  • Buses,
  • Tilt Tray's,
  • Excavator,
  • Skid Steer Loader,
  • Scissor Lifts,
  • Light Trucks,
  • Light Vehicles
  • Generators up to 132KVA

The successful candidate will have:

  • Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Mechanical
  • NSW Tradesperson Certificate License
  • High-risk work License (with WP class) (desirable)
  • Current Unrestricted Driver's License
  • White / Blue Construction Card
