About the role

We are seeking a skilled Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our team at Sm mobile mechanical in Mandurah, WA. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a range of light vehicles, ensuring our customers' vehicles are serviced to the highest standard.

What you'll be doing

  • Diagnose and repair a variety of light vehicle issues, including engine, transmission, suspension, brakes and electrical systems
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections on customer vehicles
  • Use specialised tools and equipment to carry out repairs efficiently and effectively
  • Provide excellent customer service, keeping clients informed of the status of their vehicle
  • Maintain accurate records of all work completed
  • Comply with all relevant safety regulations and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Formal qualifications in automotive mechanics is a must.
  • Minimum 2 years' post qualification experience as a light vehicle mechanic, with a strong understanding of servicing and repairing a range of light vehicles
  • Excellent attendance , attention to details and a passion for automotive
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
  • A valid driver's licence and your own reliable transport
