About the Opportunity

We are seeking highly motivated Utility Workers to support our Blair Athol Coal Mine. The position will report to the Senior Administration Officer and is primarily responsible for cleaning various minesite facilities, including bathrooms and cribrooms, plus a variety of offsite accommodation facilities in Clermont. We are seeking full time and part time candidates to carry out scheduled routine servicing in line with site and town requirements as needed. You will need to be available to work from Monday to Friday, however, hours and days of the week are flexible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform cleaning and housekeeping tasks across both site facilities and offsite accommodation areas
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in bathrooms, crib rooms, and common areas
  • Restock and monitor cleaning supplies, ensuring inventory levels are accurate and sufficient
  • Identify and report maintenance issues or repair needs to the Facilities team
  • Contribute to a safe and hygienic work environment by following all site safety and hygiene protocols

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain routines
  • Someone who can work well independently and, in a team
  • Current Manual Driver's license (essential)
  • Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical (highly regarded or willing to obtain)
