About Us:

Coulson Operations is a company that owns and manages a range of brands, including Kool Beanz Childcare Centres and a number of residential and commercial properties. We provide exceptional services and creating innovative spaces for our community.

We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Maintenance All-rounder to work across a number of sites on the Gold Coast 5 days a week. Our ideal applicant will be a problem solver who can follow through and think outside the box.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance and problem solve
  • Report significant maintenance issues to management in a timely manner
  • Provide updates on scheduled work, delays, or safety concerns
  • General repairs and maintenance as required e.g. hang new doors; patch sand and paint walls; tiling; hanging pictures, gap fill, replace broken locks and door handles etc
  • Conduct routine inspections of premises play equipment for any damage/safe concerns and mend or replace as needed
  • Clean gutters, ceiling fans and air con filters
  • Blow down yards and pressure clean as required
  • Timber decking, bench and screening maintenance
  • Install appliances, play equipment and furniture as required
  • Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems

Requirements:

  • Strong work ethic and commitment to quality maintenance
  • Punctuality and reliability in meeting work schedules
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication skills to coordinate with team members
  • Willing to obtain a Blue Card
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work independently and part as a team
  • Own reliable transport for commuting around the Gold Coast
