About us
Australian Country Choice produce and supply the highest quality cattle and meat products to the local and export markets. We employ over 1500 team members and together our diverse Queensland based operations process 350,000 head of cattle across 4 million acres of large-scale breeding, backgrounding, farming and feedlotting, through to our modern food processing and value add packing facility at Cannon Hill, near Brisbane CBD.
The nature and scale of our operations, together with the needs of our customers means that operate all year, and not just a "season". Because of that, we're fully invested in you.
Of our 7 cattle properties in Queensland, some locations are more remote than others and include Mt Isa, Charleville, Augathella and Roma district. With properties of different sizes and functions, the available roles at each can vary, but may include:
- Station Hands
- Maintenance Hands / Bore People
- Cooks
- Home Tutor / Governess
- Trades & Mechanics

What's on Offer

- Daily rates of pay + paid overtime days+ 17.5% annual leave loading

About you

You're a team player who can be relied upon and are always willing to jump in and lend a hand. You'll have high personal standards, take pride in what you do and want to do a quality job every time. You'll bring a passion for cattle and appreciate that we apply the highest standards of animal welfare practices at all times.
You'll need a manual drivers' licence and be willing to be vaccinated for QFever (if not already immune).
