Execution Planning Superintendent

UGL is excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Execution Planning Superintendent to join our team. Based in Perth, this role is responsible for leading a team dedicated to delivering front-end readiness for Wheatstone Brownfields projects
About Role:
This position will lead UGL's Perth-based delivery team, which includes Work Pack Engineers, Planners, Schedulers, and Coordinators. The role is primarily responsible for ensuring comprehensive front-end readiness for all brownfields projects, facilitating their seamless transition to site execution.
5:2 Perth Based (Ad hoc site visits may be required)
40 hrs per week
Key Responsibilities:
Oversight of UGL Operations
- Ensures adherence to policies, procedures, and standards across operations.
- Oversees Perth resource management, including manpower, materials, and scheduling for the Projects team.
Compliance and Safety
- Upholds compliance with UGL and Chevron HSE standards
- Conducts audits and inspections to verify work quality and promotes a strong safety culture.
Strategic Planning
- Focuses on achieving long-term goals and company KPI's
- Aligns project objectives with organisational priorities, collaborating closely with senior management and stakeholders.
Budget and Scheduling
- Develops and manages project budgets and timelines.
- Ensures projects are completed on schedule and within budget constraints.
High-Level Coordination
- Acts as a liaison between leadership, clients, external partners, and subcontractors.
- Manages communication across departments and large teams to guarantee alignment and efficiency.
Problem Solving and Crisis Management
- Handles escalated issues and delivers timely, effective solutions to challenges.
- Leads decision-making processes during critical situations.
Reporting
- Prepares detailed reports for stakeholders and senior leadership, capturing progress, concerns, achievements, and areas for improvement.

- Proven experience in overseeing operations, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and standards.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing resources effectively
- Strategic thinker, capable of aligning long-term project outcomes with organizational goals while maintaining collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Expertise in budget development and management, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within financial constraints.
- Exceptional coordination skills, adept at liaising between clients, leadership, external partners, subcontractors, and large teams.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle escalated issues, manage crises, and drive critical decision-making.
- Skilled at preparing detailed reports, highlighting progress, successes, and areas for improvement for stakeholder and leadership review.
