We are excited to announce the opportunity for a dedicated and innovative leader to join our team in 2026 in the role of Deputy Principal - Teaching & Learning.
This role forms part of the College Leadership Team and will lead the College's Secondary School academic programs and classroom curriculum to ensure the quality delivery of teaching and learning that stimulates, challenge and engages students.
Reporting to the Vice Principal, this is a strategic leadership position that collaborates across departments to ensure a safe, inclusive, and high-performing learning environment.
The successful applicant will be an experience educator and leader with:
- Proven ability to deliver educational vision with clarity, purpose and alignment to the College's mission.
- Comprehensive understanding of contemporary educational and curriculum priorities, standards and challenges, including the Australian Curriculum and WACE courses.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in boys' education philosophies and practices.
- Experience in the development and management of school timetables.
- Advanced capability in coordinating teacher professional learning and growth initiatives.
- Proficient in the use of learning management systems, with experience in SEQTA highly regarded.
- Demonstrated commitment to staff development and capacity building.
- Deep understanding of teaching and learning needs across Middle and Senior School contexts.
- Strong knowledge of student pathways in Years 11 and 12, including academic and vocational options.
- Extensive experience in delivering high-quality educational content with a focus on teaching excellence.
- Advanced experience in coordinating internal and external examinations.
- Demonstrated exemplary classroom practice and instructional leadership.
This is a full-time (1.0 FTE), Category 7 Deputy Principal role offered on a ten-year fixed-term contract, underpinned by a permanent substantive teaching role.
