Position Overview:
They are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Head of Professional Services to lead their team and drive the growth of their professional services division. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the delivery of their professional services, including project management, consulting, and technical support. They will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance our service offerings and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the professional services team, including project managers, consultants, and technical support staff
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the quality and effectiveness of our professional services
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Ensure timely and successful delivery of projects, meeting client expectations and project goals
- Monitor and analyse project performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, incorporating them into our service offerings
- Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet project demands and deadlines
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the performance of the professional services division
- Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a professional services role, with at least 3 years in a leadership position
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and team members
- Experience in developing and implementing strategies to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects and tasks
- Knowledge of the digital landscape and emerging technologies
- Experience in managing budgets and resources effectively
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
