ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Educator, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation of engaging learning experiences for children aged 0-5 years (Nursery to Kindergarten). You will work closely with a team of like-minded educators.

  • We currently have 2 permanent, full time positions available

  • Float - all ages

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation, implementation and evaluation of developmentally appropriate programs for individual children or groups.
  • Record observations of individual children or groups for program planning purposes for qualified staff.
  • Set up, facilitate, and clean down after our play-based activities.
  • Create a friendly, stimulating and interactive learning environment.
  • Provide a safe and welcoming environment for all children and families.
  • Develop trusting and honest relationships with children, families, colleagues, management and community stakeholders.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Hold a recognised Early Childhood Education and Care qualification

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (complete or in progress)

  • Hold or be willing to obtain Blue Card.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain First Aid/CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training.
  • Previous experience in understanding the needs of children with additional needs .
  • Knowledge and understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and Child Protection laws
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to their development and well-being.
  • Ability to work as part of a collaborative team in a dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility in relation to working hours (6am - 6.30pm).
  • Experience with Childcare and Xplor and Playground would be highly regarded.
