About the role

Australian Metal Experts' is seeking an experienced Fabricator to join our team in Ingleburn, NSW for an immediate start. This full-time role will involve the fabrication of high-quality metal products to exacting standards. As a Fabricator, you will play a crucial part in the success of our business, contributing your expertise and craftsmanship to the delivery of exceptional customer outcomes.

What you'll be doing

  1. Interpret and follow technical drawings and specifications to fabricate metal components and structures
  2. Utilise a range of metalworking equipment and tools, including welding machines, cutting tools, machining equipment, and measuring devices
  3. Perform welding, cutting and machining tasks to a high standard of quality
  4. Collaborate with the wider team to solve problems and continuously improve fabrication processes
  5. Maintain a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as a Fabricator or in a similar role, ideally within the trades and services industry
  2. Strong technical skills and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  3. Proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding
  4. Good hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
  5. A commitment to safety and a willingness to work as part of a team
