About the role:

We currently have a casual or contractor position available for an experienced, kind & confident beauty/massage therapist who has a passion for holistic wellness. This role would suit someone who is perhaps studying part time or is looking to supplement their income.

REQUIRED skills and abilities:

As a beauty/massage therapy superstar, you'll be…

  • Able to keep clients returning through professionalism, quality skills, a caring nature and excellent communication skills.
  • Confident with exceptional skills in all beauty treatments, with an emphasis on relaxation body massage and facials.
  • Able to work Tues-Sundays.
  • Able to work unsupervised and use your initiative.
  • Able to achieve KPIs in service and retail sales plus client re-bookings.
  • Not afraid to enhance client experience through value adding strategies.
  • Able to work around a flexible roster (although we do try to keep hours as regular as possible).
  • Must be a team player, conscientious, a proactive thinker & willing and able to follow instructions.
  • Enthusiasm for continuously developing your skills and knowledge
  • Passionate about beauty therapy, health and making a difference for others

DESIRABLE skills and abilities:

  • Confidence in providing skin consultations, a skin health treatment plan, including how to treat concerns both in the salon and at home using  retail recommendations.
  • Knowledge of and confidence using salon software is an advantage.
  • Massage therapy certification and added bonus if can do hot stones, pregnancy,manual lymphatic massage
  • Able to start asap

REQUIRED experience:

  • Min Cert IV in Beauty Therapy/Massage qualifications
  • Remedial massage qualifications are an advantage, but not essential.
  • Minimum 2+ years experience. Note - this role is unsuitable for first-year graduates.
