Senior Process Design Engineer

jimmylea is an engineering and simulation firm based in Sydney with offices in Australia and Singapore. We deliver plant engineering design, chemical process engineering, conceptual plant design and emerging energy engineering, supported by advanced simulation capability in CFD, pipe flow simulation, process dynamics simulation and reactive process simulation.

We are seeking expressions of interest from an experienced
Senior Process Design Engineer
to join our plant engineering team. The role covers the full spectrum of process design, including PFD development, mass and energy balances, P&IDs, functional specifications, hydraulic calculations, equipment and line sizing and instrumentation requirements.

This position offers exposure to complex chemical engineering design tasks and strong professional development opportunities.

Requirements


• Degree in Chemical Engineering from a reputable university


• Minimum 15 years of process design experience, preferably on Australian projects


• Australian citizen or permanent resident
