We are seeking a confident and mature Team Leader to join our Permanency Support Program (PSP). In this leadership role, you will inspire, guide, and support your team to achieve excellence in casework practice. Success will come from being highly organised, self-driven, and skilled in providing effective supervision and thorough oversight.

As Team Leader, you will:

  • Monitor and manage workload allocation to ensure high-quality outcomes for children, young people, and carers.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, internal policies, and Catholic social teaching principles.
  • Lead and mentor a dedicated team, fostering a culture of professional growth and reflective practice.
  • Carry a small caseload when or if required.

About You:

  • Degree-qualified in Social Work, Community Services, Teaching, Nursing, Psychology, or Family Therapy.
  • Proven leadership and supervision experience, ideally in Out-of-Home Care (OOHC) or child protection.
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to engage respectfully with stakeholders and lead constructive, robust discussions.
  • Extensive applied knowledge of legislation, regulations, and standards in Child Protection and Adoption.
  • A strong commitment to Family Spirit's mission, vision, and values, grounded in Catholic social teaching.
  • Current Working with Children Check, valid Driver's Licence, and access to a reliable vehicle.
