About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Multi-Skilled Operator to join our team at A Team Civil in Browns Plains, QLD. This full-time position is a unique opportunity to contribute to the delivery of commercial projects in the local area. As a Civil Multi-Skilled Operator, you will play a crucial role in operating a variety of heavy machinery and plant equipment to support our civil earthmoving operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Safely and efficiently operate a range of earthmoving equipment, including excavators, dozers, graders and rollers

  • Perform general maintenance and pre-start checks on all plant and equipment

  • Contribute to the execution of civil works such as bulk earthworks, filling & compaction, detailed trimming, stormwater & drainage installation.

  • Identify and report any equipment issues or maintenance requirements

  • Adhere to all relevant health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

  • Collaborate effectively with the wider construction team to deliver project outcomes

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a civil construction operator

  • Demonstrated competence in operating a variety of heavy machinery and plant equipment

  • Strong understanding of civil construction practices and site safety requirements

  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality work

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills

  • Experience working with and using GPS systems

  • A current HR or HC driver's licence and a Construction Induction (White) Card is advantageous but not required.
