About us:

Willis Partners is a young and rapidly expanding Chartered Accounting firm providing accounting, taxation and business advisory services to a wide variety of clients, both large and small. We like to work hard but are also a very fun & social team.

This is an opportunity to start your career not just learning the basics but empowering you to take larger steps, giving you exposure to many other facets of accounting and taxation including companies, trusts, SMSF and cashflow forecasting while working with business owners, high net worth individuals/family groups and SME's. We also strongly encourage client contact in the early stages to foster relationships and build trust and rapport.

What you will do

  • Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships
  • Prepare Business and Instalment Activity Statements
  • GST, Payroll Tax, Superannuation lodgements
  • Reconcile accounting files and resolve discrepancies
  • Liaise with the ATO and other external stakeholders

About you

  • Degree qualified in Accounting / Finance or similar discipline
  • Strong communication written and verbal
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and excellent attention to detail
  • A commitment to developing new skills
  • Any previous experience with an accounting firm or similar is beneficial but not essential
