What You'll Do:

  • Support month-end processes and financial reporting
  • Assist with accounts payable/receivable management
  • Help with job costing and project financial tracking
  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Gain exposure to construction-specific accounting challenges

Essential Criteria:

  • Recent accounting degree holder with strong academic foundation
  • Ambition to become a qualified accountant (CA/CPA pathway support provided)
  • Interest in commercial/industrial accounting over traditional tax and audit work
  • Eagerness to learn in a hands-on, fast-paced construction environment

Desirable but Not Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience with accounting software (MYOB, Xero, or similar)
  • Understanding of GST and Australian taxation basics
  • Previous exposure to construction or project-based industries
  • Experience in carrying out bank and other account reconciliations.
  • Experience with financial reporting and analysis
