Job details

Enterprise Architects create and evolve architecture models that inform the design, development, and evolution of business processes and supporting ICT systems.

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership of the Department's innovation portfolio, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and government objectives.
  • Integrate innovation methods, tools, and resources into departmental policy development processes.
  • Drive adoption of innovative practices and emerging technologies to improve service delivery outcomes.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement across government, industry, and the not-for-profit sector to co-design, prototype, and pilot solutions.
  • Represent the Department's innovation agenda at portfolio, APS-wide, and cross-sector governance forums.
  • Identify, assess, and scale effective innovation practices and outcomes.
  • Build capability and foster a culture of innovation across the Department and portfolio agencies.
  • Provide strategic advice on innovation opportunities, risks, and enablers to senior executive stakeholders.
  • Other duties as required and advised by the Assistant Secretary - Digital Strategy, Architecture and Innovation.

Job Type: Contract

Contract length: 36 months

Pay: $150.00 – $160.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
