About the Role

Are you a skilled and motivated Heavy Equipment Mechanic looking to make a difference? Join Roadline Civil Contractors and become part of a team that is passionate about what we do We're seeking a talented mechanic who shares our dedication to high-quality service, safety, and teamwork. You'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of construction and earthmoving machinery, including graders, excavators, loaders and more. Bring your expertise and enthusiasm – together, we'll achieve excellence

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on mobile plant equipment, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
• Diagnose mechanical and hydraulic issues using advanced diagnostic tools, with an eye for detail.
• Conduct safety inspections and complete thorough service reports, keeping everything compliant and safe.
• Work both independently and in a collaborative team environment in the workshop and on-site.
• Adhere to safety regulations, always ensuring the highest standards for both you and your team.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is:

• Qualified with a trade qualification in Diesel Mechanics or Heavy Vehicle Mechanics.
• Experienced, with at least 3 years' experience in working with construction or mining machinery.
• Knowledgeable about John Deere, Komatsu, Bobcat, Bomag, or similar machinery.
• Passionate about your craft, with the ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• A natural team player, always ready to help and support colleagues.
• A proactive problem-solver with strong attention to detail.
• In possession of a valid driver's license and an HR license.
• Ready to work with a company that values Australian working rights.
