Your Role

Were looking for a Board Engagement Specialist to join the Office of the NRMA CEO (RIA). This role supports governance delivery across our joint partnerships, specifically RACQ, IAG and IMA and helps ensure our CEO meets board-related obligations.

Youll work closely with senior leaders and operational teams to plan and manage governance routines, review and refine board papers, and support broader governance processes. Youll also help maintain alignment across IAG, IMA and RIA, and contribute to CEO reporting and divisional planning.

Though not board-facing, this role is central to how we prepare and deliver information to Boards, Committees and Executive forums.

This is a permanent role, based in Gadigal Country (Darling Park, Sydney).

About you

  • Experience planning and managing governance and reporting routines across multiple entities or partnerships
  • Confidence reviewing and refining board papers to ensure clarity, strategic alignment and quality
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills from CEO level through to operational teams
  • Ability to guide teams through governance processes and approval workflows
  • Ability to quickly develop a working knowledge of legal agreements and outsourcing arrangements (e.g. IMA, RACV, RACQ)
  • A proactive mindset and ability to spot opportunities to improve governance tools, routines and processes
  • Confidence working across Divisions and with Group services to align governance practices
  • High attention to detail and strong planning skills to manage forward calendars and deadlines
