This firm is now seeking an experienced and proactive HSEQ Advisor to drive excellence in health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance across their projects. This is a pivotal role that extends beyond safety, incorporating environmental stewardship and quality assurance to uphold the highest standards in their operations.
- Location: Keilor Park, VIC.
- Salary: Offered in the range of $95k to $115k plus superannuation per annum.
- Tenure: The role is full-time and ongoing.

The duties and responsibilities of the position will include:
- HSEQ Leadership: Conduct regular workplace inspections, identify hazards, and perform thorough HSEQ compliance assessments to proactively mitigate risks.
- Comprehensive Oversight: Deliver expert guidance across all aspects of Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality compliance, ensuring these areas are seamlessly integrated into project execution.
- Work Planning & Risk Management: Provide professional input into work planning and risk assessments to ensure robust safety and quality measures are in place.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement HSEQ improvements across departments, fostering a culture of ongoing development.
- Incident Management: Participate in incident investigations, using root cause analysis to identify issues and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Process Optimization: Review and refine work procedures to enhance hazard control measures, operational safety, and environmental compliance.
- Coaching & Support: Provide coaching, advice, and support to site-based teams, ensuring effective implementation and auditing of HSEQ plans and procedures.
- Environmental Compliance: Ensure adherence to Site Environmental Management Plans and compliance with CHMP (Cultural Heritage Management Plan) management conditions.
To be considered for this role you should be able to positively address the following attributes:
- Proven experience of 1 or more years as a Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality Adviser in the Water and/or Pipeline Industry.
- Relevant bachelor's degree or higher qualification in a highly relevant area of study, with a strong understanding of environmental and quality management principles.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Australian safety legislation and standards.
- Expertise in conducting audits, investigations, and workplace inspections.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders effectively.
- A valid driver's license and demonstrated driving competency, enabling travel to various project sites as required
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in computer applications and HSEQ management systems.
You must have unrestricted full time Australian working rights to be considered.
