Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Dietitian (Grade 3) to join our growing team on a 1 x full-time ongoing, 1 x full-time fixed term (12 months parental leave) & 0.6EFT fixed term (13 months long service leave cover).

This pivotal role is responsible for delivering high-quality clinical dietetic services, providing professional leadership, and contributing to service development and innovation across the organisation.

As a senior member of the Dietetics team, you'll play a key role in shaping service delivery, supporting junior staff, and driving quality improvement initiatives to ensure exceptional, evidence-based care for our patients and community.

The role of the Dietitian (Grade 3) is:

  • Deliver best practice dietetics services to patients across LRH.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and enhance dietetic services and promote the role of dietitians in patient care.
  • Provide leadership, supervision, and education to Grade 1 and 2 Dietitians.
  • Coordinate and support student placements in partnership with educational providers.
  • Contribute to service administration including monitoring performance, policy and protocol development and strategic planning.
  • Support staff recruitment, performance appraisal processes, and business case preparation.

About you

Ideal candidates for this role will have:

  • Bachelor of Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics (Accredited by Dietitians Australia).
  • Eligibility for Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) credentialing.
  • Demonstrated experience in quality improvement and service delivery.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills with experience supervising students and junior staff.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving and strategic planning skills.
