About the role

Autocare Australia pty ltd is seeking an experienced Tow Truck Driver to join our team in Sydney, NSW. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in our road transport operations, responsible for providing efficient and reliable vehicle recovery services to our customers. What you'll be doing

  1. Safely operate and manoeuvre tow trucks to recover and transport disabled or accident-damaged vehicles
  2. Provide excellent customer service, communicating with clients and coordinating vehicle pickups and drop-offs
  3. Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on your tow truck to ensure it stays in optimal working condition
  4. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to vehicle recovery operations
  5. Adhere to all relevant road transport regulations and safety protocols
  6. Collaborate with the broader transport team to ensure efficient and timely vehicle recovery services

What we're looking for

  1. A valid heavy vehicle driver's license (class MR or above) with a clean driving record
  2. Demonstrated experience as a tow truck driver or in a similar vehicle recovery role
  3. Strong customer service orientation and the ability to communicate effectively with clients
  4. Proficiency in operating and maneuvering various tow truck models
  5. Excellent time management and problem-solving skills to handle urgent vehicle recovery requests
  6. Commitment to safety and a willingness to undergo regular training and compliance checks
