About the role

We are seeking an experienced Stonemason to join the team at Sun Corp International Pty Ltd. As a Stonemason, you will play a vital role in the fabrication, and installation of high-quality stone products for a variety of commercial and residential projects. This is a full-time and part time position based in our Laverton North, VIC location.

What you'll be doing

  • Expertly cutting, shaping, and finishing zero silica stone, porcelain and natural stone materials such as granite, quartzite and marble.
  • Installing finished stone elements, including countertops (benchtops), fireplaces, and splashbacks
  • Collaborating with clients, stonemason manager, project manager, and other tradespeople to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality results.
  • Adhering to all relevant safety standards and regulations
  • Ability to read plans and measurements accurately.
  • A passion for stonework and high attention to detail.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 8 years' experience as a Stonemason
  • Demonstrated expertise in the use of power tools, hand tools, and specialty equipment for stone fabrication
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Good physical fitness and the ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy stone materials
  • Excellent problem-solving
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
