About the Company

This is Hybrid opportunity with the Australian Securities & Investments Commission. As part of the eligibility and suitability requirement, ASIC seeks Australian citizens only. Successful candidates will be required to furnish valid evidence of citizenship during the Pre-engagement Check.

Responsibilities

  • Providing systems analysis, technical recommendations, and inputs to business requirements and solution/UI designs for OutSystems applications.
  • Providing detailed design and proof of concept of common components, workflows and functionalities.
  • Developing, unit-testing and deploying the Outsystems applications.
  • Ensuring that the applications delivered are aligned with project outcomes and architectural designs and patterns.
  • Ensuring that the applications delivered are WCAG and Security Compliant.
  • Ensuring that development, coding, privacy, and security standards are adhered to.
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation, development best practices and guidelines.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvements to applications, environments, and processes.
  • Providing advice, coaching and knowledge transfer to junior staff as required.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in developing and deploying complex web applications.
  • Experience in developing and deploying applications using enterprise low-code digital platform (Outsystem preferred), is an advantage.
  • Experience in Front-end technologies, such as HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript Framework such as React/Angular.
  • Experience with REST/JSON based web services.
  • Experience with SQL queries and performance tuning.
  • Working knowledge of the Agile methodology and agile development, including the use of agile management tools such as TFS, GIT, JIRA.
  • Experience using DevOps, continuous improvement, automated unit testing.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and people skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including the ability to clearly communicate technical details to business.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and be accountable for outcomes.
  • A tertiary qualification in IT, engineering or other relevant degree is desirable.

  • Technological adeptness - The demonstrated ability to apply different technologies to gather information and process evidence efficiently and effectively; understand the communication and technological systems.

Preferred Skills

  • Pricing whole of life costs to be incurred by the Customer. Evaluation will take account of the quoted hourly rate and any costs that the Customer will incur as a result of accepting the Potential Supplier's Response.
