We're on the lookout for a highly skilled and collaborative Senior Software Engineer to join our Digital & Technology Services team. In this role, you'll help design, develop and deliver scalable and efficient full-stack web applications using both traditional technologies and the OutSystems low-code platform. You'll work across exciting government projects in Defence, Health, Justice, Transport and more — all of which aim to create lasting, positive change.

As a Senior Software Engineer in the Digital & Technology Services team, you'll make a positive impact by:

  • Designing and developing web applications using OutSystems and full-stack technologies
  • Collaborating with analysts, UX/UI designers and other developers to create cohesive solutions
  • Integrating systems and third-party services via REST/SOAP APIs
  • Ensuring code quality and maintainability through best practices and documentation
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues, bugs and performance bottlenecks
  • Participating in Agile/Scrum processes, including sprints and retrospectives

To be successful in this role you'll have:

  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong project portfolio
  • Demonstrated proficiency in OutSystems and full-stack development
  • Knowledge of front-end frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, ) and back-end languages (e.g. C#, Python, Java)
  • Experience integrating OpenAI services and working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
  • A relevant degree in IT, Computer Science or Engineering
