About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable professional to join our team in Hervey Bay, Queensland. We are open to hearing from people who are interested in casual/part-time or full-time roles.

What you'll be doing

  • Processing accounts receivable and managing credit control for the company
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards
  • Providing administrative support to the finance team as needed
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and contributing to the overall efficiency of the finance function
  • Following up on overdue accounts
  • Reporting to the Directors

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in an accounts receivable or similar role, preferably within the Accounting industry
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications (we use MYOB, and Google sheets)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team (our team is both in the office and remote/online)
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Experience in hotel accounts and use of reservations software (eg. REI Cloud, Newbook, RMS) highly desirable, but not essential
