The Role

  • Draft and develop internal safety audit tools and packages (e.g. confined spaces) for use by Safety Advisors
  • Train and mentor Advisors in conducting audits and monitor audit progress
  • Analyse audit results, manipulate data accurately, and report findings for continuous improvement
  • Undertake internal audits in line with the global audit program
  • Manage and improve electronic safety systems, including hazard, incident, and contractor management tools
  • Support data integrity, reporting, and system updates in collaboration with IT
  • Prepare and deliver timely audit and safety reports for senior management
  • Maintain awareness of legislative changes and ensure compliance

About You

  • WHS qualification (Cert IV minimum) plus internal auditor qualification
  • At least 2 years' experience in a safety or audit role
  • Strong skills in Excel and data manipulation; experience with Power BI is highly desirable
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain data accuracy
  • Strong communicator with the ability to coach and train others
  • Organised, with proven ability to manage multiple audit streams and deadlines
