Overview

Working with one of our major timber producers, known for supplying quality wood products across Australia, you will contribute to the team as a Timber Mill Hand - Pole Prefabricator (Day Shift 6.30am – 3pm, Monday to Friday – hours may vary slightly). This role is covered under the Timber Award, with a casual rate of $30.35 per hour.

About the Position:

-Measure and Sort boards of timber

-Manual Labour moving boards from the sorting table, trolley or conveyor

-Stack boards into bundles

-Strap and attach tags to packs

What We're Looking For:

  • Ability to repetitively lift 15kg+
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • Strong focus on maintaining quality and accuracy in all tasks
  • Demonstrated safety record
  • Demonstrated English language and numeracy proficiency
  • Ability to follow guidelines and instructions
  • Good communication skills to contribute positively, report issues and coordinate with the team
  • Demonstrated knowledge of operating safely in an agricultural environment and adhering to WHSE requirements.
  • Workers must demonstrate the ability to get to work each day using their own transport as no public transport is available near the work location.
